Summary of Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of 10 engineers and grow the team
Work with device and cloud teams to manage and debug devices deployed in the field
Manage device OTA updates & configuration, monitor and respond to alarms from devices deployed in the field
Work with CV/ML teams to deploy algorithms for 3D Object Detection, semantic/instance segmentation, localization and mapping
Support hardware Installation and troubleshooting of devices in the field and support customer demos and pilot programs
Support engineering experiments with new software and hardware
Software and Hardware testing
Evaluate and characterize performance of sensors such as cameras and GPS
Travel to various cities to support pilots (up to 25% of the job)
Required Qualifications:
10+ years’ relevant experience including:
Software/hardware integration and working with various peripheral devices such as cameras, LTE modules, GNSS, etc.
Knowledge of Linux systems
Hands-on experience with hardware and competence with basic mechanical work
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
