The Safe Sense App uses your mobile phone to create a radius around your vehicle. If any other Safe Sense App user reports an accessibility hazard within that radius, you’ll get an alert on your phone. This gives you the chance to avoid danger and effortlessly improve traffic safety for your community.

Users have full control of what traffic violations are reported. Only content that a Safe Sense App user chooses to Report on the Safe Sense App is publicly accessible through the Safe Sense App or by your local city agencies. The Safe Sense App does not view or share a user’s videos that are not posted to the App without the user’s express permission.

Before posting on the Safe Sense App, be sure to view our Reporting Guidelines to see what types of reports and comments are permitted. Our aim is to keep the Safe Sense App’s content and conversations focused on traffic safety. Users also have the power to flag incorrect or inappropriate content on the Safe Sense App directly in the App. Our team reviews flagged posts, and if the report violates one of our Reporting Guidelines, it will be removed from the content feed. When we deny reports as part of our pre-moderation process, you can view why the report was rejected in the users Reporting History. When you submit Content to be published by the Service, you must make sure it is lawful. For example, you shall not submit Content that:

is diminishing or infringing proprietary rights of others, including but not limited to copyright and trademarks

poses a risk to a person’s safety, security or health; identifies other persons without obtaining such person’s express written consent to the disclosure of their personal information, or pertains to minors and identifies minors or their personal information, including their full name, age, address or contact information is unlawful, defamatory, libelous or invades the privacy of others; is harassing, offensive, threatening or vulgar encourages racism or unlawfully discriminates on the basis of race, origin, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, occupation, sexual orientation, illness, physical or mental disability, faith, political view or socio-economical class encourages criminal behavior or conduct that would constitute a criminal offense under any law, or could give rise to civil liability or other lawsuit
