Francis AI Welcomes Marc Pelaez, Rear Admiral United States Navy (Retired), to Advisory Board

Francis AI Technologies, Inc. (“Francis AI”) today announced that Marc Pelaez, Retired Rear Admiral in the United States Navy, has joined the company’s advisory board.

Marc Pelaez is a Retired Rear Admiral in the United States Navy. Currently a private consultant to defense and commercial companies, Marc was previously Vice President of Engineering and later Vice President of Business and Technology Development for Newport News Shipbuilding from 1996 until 2001, when it was acquired by Northrop Grumman Corporation. From 1993 to 1996, Marc served as Chief of Naval Research, as Executive Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development, and Acquisition) from 1990 to 1993; and as various command assignments in the US Navy from 1968 to 1990. Marc has served on the Boards of both public and private companies. He is currently Lead Director of II-VI, Inc. (NASDAQ: IIVI). Marc has a broad background and understanding of technology and technology development, military procurement practices, and of management leadership and consulting skills as developed throughout his military and civilian careers.
