Francis AI Finds Unity at the Silicon Valley — New Japan Summit
November 21, 2019
Francis AI was excited to both attend and present at the Silicon Valley — New Japan Summit, an invitation-only two-day summit held to connect Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies with the aim of generating cross-collaboration.
The event was held November 18–19th at Stanford University, where 80 startups had their own booths to hold one-on-one discussions regarding investment with Japanese attendees. The summit featured a Biz-Dev booth where Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies could directly talk business, as well as lectures and panel discussions on examples of cooperation with Japanese companies that did both stimulate and inform.
Francis AI’s own VP of Engineering, Vaibhav Ghadiok, presented at the event, and has said of the matter, “The event was well-attended by some of the largest and most innovative tech companies in Japan. We have received overwhelming interest in our solution and look forward to collaborating to deploy our solution and make cities across the world smarter and safer.”
We at Francis AI look forward to deepening the depth and breadth of own work through the interaction and engagement we found at the summit, and are excited to see what collaborative concepts spring up from such a room of innovative giants.
